  • 1 cup Butter (Cold)
  • 1/2 cup Apple (Grated)
  • 1 cup Buttermilk (Chilled)
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (Chilled)
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • Pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, and spices; whisk well.
  3. Cut cold butter into cubes and mix into the dry ingredients until coarse crumbs form.
  4. Fold in grated apple and then add chilled buttermilk; stir gently until just combined.
