  • 50 ml / 1/4 cup whole milk (hot)
  • 100 g / 1/2 cup butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until frothy and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. Peel and quarter the potatoes. Boil in a large pot of salted water until tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and allow to steam dry.
  3. Return potatoes to the pot. Add hot milk and mash until smooth. Stir in the browned butter until fully combined.
  4. Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
