  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Ginger
  • ⅛ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma; let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together browned butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; stir until just combined.
