  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 500 g cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and sugar, then add melted butter and press into a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Cook sliced apples with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over medium heat until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add sugar. Mix in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and sour cream.
  5. Fold in the cooked apples and pour the mixture over the crust.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center; cool in the oven with the door ajar for an hour.
  7. Refrigerate for at least four hours before serving; drizzle with caramel sauce.
