  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • Pico de gallo for serving
  • Guacamole for serving
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the flank steak for at least 2 hours (or overnight) in the mixture.
  3. Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  4. Let meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
  5. Warm corn tortillas in a dry skillet until pliable. Assemble tacos with sliced steak and top with pico de gallo and guacamole.
