  • 12 oz uncooked chow mein noodles
  • 6 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp light sesame oil
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Whisk together oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Cook chow mein noodles as per package instructions; drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken strips until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes); remove from pan.
  4. Sauté carrots, cabbage, and garlic in the same pan for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  5. Return chicken and noodles to the pan; pour prepared sauce over everything and stir well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.
