  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for mousse)
  • 1/2 cup homemade salted caramel sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (for whipped topping)
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Melt semisweet chocolate over simmering water until smooth; let cool. Whip 1 cup heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in the melted chocolate and salted caramel.
  3. In another bowl, beat together remaining heavy cream, peanut butter, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over the cooled mousse filling.
  4. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce, melted peanut butter, and melted chocolate. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
