  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • For the Cinnamon Swirl: 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • For the Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1-2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
  3. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture. Gradually add all-purpose flour, stirring until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar for the swirl.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  6. Layer remaining batter followed by the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Gently swirl through with a knife or skewer for marbling.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle once cooled.
