  • 1 large onion, finely sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

  • Broth (or water) to cover the beef

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat.

  5. Pour in enough broth to cover beef completely; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for about 2 hours until tender.
  6. Prepare jasmine rice according to package instructions and serve the curry over it.
