  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne in salted boiling water until al dente; add broccoli during the last two minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; sauté in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter; add minced garlic and sauté briefly. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth; mix in cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses; stir until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine cooked pasta, broccoli, and chicken into the sauce; mix well until coated.
