  • 4 medium Russet potatoes (about 800g)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (30ml)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50g)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt (5g)
  • ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper (2g)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into half-inch strips.
  2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes using paper towels. Toss them in a large bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the seasoned potatoes in the fryer basket without overcrowding.
  5. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping.
  6. Once golden and crispy, transfer fries to a serving bowl and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese while hot. Serve immediately!
