  • 32 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 48 oz marinara sauce
  • 12 oz gluten-free penne pasta
  • 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, eggs, parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Start layering: spread some marinara sauce on the bottom, add gluten-free penne, then dollop ricotta mixture on top.
  4. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat layers two more times: marinara sauce, pasta, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
  6. Finish with marinara sauce and extra mozzarella on top.
  7. Cover and cook on high for about 2.5 hours until bubbly.
