  • 2 1/4 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups Cold Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 16 pieces Chocolate Batons or Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • Confectioners’ Sugar for dusting

Instructions

  2. Gradually mix in cold milk until a dough forms; knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  3. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Roll out chilled dough into a rectangle; encase cold unsalted butter and seal edges.
  5. Fold dough into thirds, chill again, and repeat rolling and folding two more times.
  6. Cut into triangles, add chocolate at the base, roll tightly into crescent shapes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), let croissants rise for an hour before baking for about 20 minutes until golden.
