  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss sliced strawberries with sugar and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar. Add melted butter and milk; stir until just combined.
  4. Roll dough out on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.
  5. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the rolled-out dough.
  6. Sprinkle sliced strawberries over the filling and roll the dough tightly from one end to create a log shape.
  7. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
