  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Easter Mini Eggs (Cadbury or Lindt)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Add egg and vanilla; blend until combined.
  4. Fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until just mixed. Gently fold in chocolate chips and mini eggs.
  5. Transfer batter to the prepared pan, optionally pressing extra mini eggs on top.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes until edges are golden and center is chewy.
  7. Cool before cutting into squares.
