  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 24 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl and set aside to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow brownies to cool completely before frosting.
  6. For the frosting, mix instant coffee granules with heavy cream until smooth. Beat unsalted butter until fluffy, then gradually add powdered sugar until smooth. Combine with the coffee mixture.
