  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • to 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey (if using), minced garlic, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan.
  2. Add the chicken to the marinade. Toss until fully coated and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for about 5–7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. In the last minute of grilling, sprinkle additional Parmesan over each piece of chicken.
  6. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
