  • 1 round crusty bread loaf (sourdough or French)
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat (preferably lump)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving about an inch of bread on the sides.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, parsley, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  4. Generously stuff the seafood mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Serve hot.
