  • 1 brown onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 6 cups vegetable or chicken broth (low-sodium)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  4. Blend the cooked vegetables with ½ cup of water until smooth.
  5. Return the blended mixture to the pot with remaining broth; stir well.
  6. Bring to a boil and add pastina pasta, cooking for about 5-6 minutes until al dente.
