  • 2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup beef broth or milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 23 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2/3 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • 23 tablespoons light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a loaf pan with foil and spray lightly with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, panko breadcrumbs, broth (or milk), eggs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf in the prepared pan or on a baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup (or BBQ sauce) with brown sugar and pour over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
