Quick Pickled Jalapeños are an irresistible condiment that adds a delightful sweet and spicy kick to your meals.   • 2025 jalapeño peppers (sliced into rings)
  • 45 cloves garlic (smashed)
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, combine smashed garlic, vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and oregano. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add sliced jalapeños to the boiling brine and stir gently. Remove from heat.
  3. Using tongs or a slotted spoon, place jalapeño slices into a clean jar. Pour enough brine over them to fill the jar completely.
  4. Allow cooling at room temperature before refrigerating for at least one hour.
