  • 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard, and one with crushed pretzels.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally press into the crushed pretzels.
  5. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. While baking, prepare the mustard-cheddar sauce by warming milk in a saucepan and stirring in shredded cheddar until melted. Add Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
