  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and optional red chili flakes.
  2. Toss chicken pieces in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Cook the coated chicken for 6–8 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked chicken and simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened.
  5. Cook your chosen noodles per package instructions; drain and toss with oil if desired.
  6. Combine cooked noodles with the chicken and sauce in the skillet, tossing gently to coat.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving warm.
