  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup glazed pecans
  • 4 slices Turkey Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 grilled chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, honey, white sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and olive oil until well combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; bring to a boil. Add pecans and stir for 30 seconds before transferring them to a greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a large bowl, toss together mixed greens, sliced strawberries, red onion, cranberries, feta cheese, sliced grilled chicken breasts, crumbled turkey bacon, and glazed pecans.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to coat.
