  • 1 lb Lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded carrots
  • 1 cup Chopped bell peppers
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 8 sheets Rice paper wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb of lean ground beef until browned. Add 2 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tbsp hoisin sauce; stir and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. While the beef cooks, chop 1 cup of bell peppers and shred 1 cup of carrots. Rinse and dry 1 cup of fresh basil leaves.
  3. Soak one rice paper wrapper in warm water for 10-15 seconds until soft. Place it on a clean surface.
  4. Layer the beef filling, shredded carrots, chopped bell peppers, and fresh basil on one end of the wrapper. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
  5. Arrange finished rolls on a platter and serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
