  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 (9-inch) store-bought pumpkin pie (premade/storebought)
  • 12 ounces unsalted butter (softened, 3 sticks)
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 34 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (cold)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. For the cinnamon cheesecake layer: Beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add flour, vanilla, cinnamon, heavy cream, and eggs; mix until well combined. Pour into prepared pans and bake for about 45 minutes or until set.
  3. For the spice cake layer: Whisk together flour, baking powder, spices, and salt. Cream butter with brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in oil and eggs; alternate adding dry ingredients with milk. Pour into one greased pan and bake for about 25 minutes.
  4. Once cooled, assemble by layering spice cake on a platter, topping with the pumpkin pie followed by cheesecake, then another spice cake layer.
  5. For frosting: Beat softened butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and optional cinnamon. Adjust consistency with cold heavy cream as needed and frost the assembled piecaken.
