  • 1 tbsp chopped rosemary
  • 11/2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 4 thick slices red onion
  • 4 oz reduced-fat Swiss cheese (sliced thin)
  • 4 thin slices tomato
  • 1/2 avocado (sliced thin)
  • baby spinach
  • 4 whole wheat low-calorie buns
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, rosemary, and steak seasoning.
  2. Add portobello mushrooms and toss gently to coat; let them marinate for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill over medium heat; brush grates with oil.
  4. Grill marinated mushrooms for 5-7 minutes per side while basting with reserved marinade.
