  • 2 tablespoons salted sweet cream butter (softened)
  • 36 crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces whipped topping (thawed)
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 6.8 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1½ teaspoons caramel flavoring
  • 1 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
  • 2½ cups chopped turtle candies

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9×9-inch baking dish with softened butter.
  2. Combine crushed cookies and melted butter in a bowl; press into the bottom of the dish to form the crust. Chill while preparing the next layer.
  3. Beat cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth; mix in powdered sugar and whipped topping until well combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust and return to the refrigerator.
  5. In another bowl, whisk cold milk with pudding mix and caramel flavoring until it begins to thicken.
  6. Fold in one cup of whipped topping into the pudding mixture until blended.
  7. Layer chopped peanuts and turtle candies on top of the cream cheese layer; drizzle with chocolate syrup and caramel syrup before adding the pudding mixture.
  8. Cover and chill for at least two hours.
  9. Before serving, spread remaining whipped topping on top, garnish with remaining peanuts and turtle candies, then drizzle with additional chocolate syrup.
