  • 6 day-old croissants
  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped hazelnuts (lightly toasted)
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Tear croissants into bite-sized pieces and layer half in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the custard over the croissant layer, followed by half of the chocolate hazelnut spread and chopped hazelnuts.
  5. Repeat layering with remaining croissants, custard mixture, chocolate hazelnut spread, and chopped hazelnuts.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
