  • 4 cups boiling water

  • 1 packet powdered pectin
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the dandelion flowers under cold water to clean them.
  2. Place the flowers in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Cover and steep for 24 hours.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to collect the liquid.
  4. In a large pot, combine 2 cups of dandelion infusion with lemon juice and powdered pectin. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add sugar all at once and stir until it dissolves. Boil for an additional minute.
  6. Pour the hot jelly into sterilized jars and process them in a boiling water bath for 5-10 minutes.
