  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dry minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to 350°F and set up zones for indirect cooking.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the beef ribs.
  3. In a small bowl, mix all rub ingredients together and generously coat the ribs.
  4. Place ribs on the grill over indirect heat and cook for about 1 hour.
  5. Flip ribs and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Prepare honey-garlic sauce by whisking all sauce ingredients until smooth.
  7. After cooking for a total of 1½ hours, apply sauce to both sides of the ribs and move to direct heat for an additional 3-5 minutes per side to caramelize.
  8. Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
