  • 1/2 cup fig preserves

  3. Rub the butter mixture onto chicken pieces in a cast iron skillet.
  4. Roast chicken in the preheated oven.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk together remaining garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and fig preserves to create the glaze.
  6. After 10 minutes of roasting, brush glaze over chicken and baste every 10 minutes until cooked through.
