  • 1 ½ lbs 85% lean ground beef
  • ½ medium yellow onion (grated)
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbsp white apple vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • ⅛ tsp ground allspice
  • 4 burger buns
  • ¼ red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ English cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • ¾ c. plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ English cucumber (grated)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (peeled and crushed)
  • 1 ½ tsp minced fresh dill
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, grated onion, crushed garlic, minced parsley, apple vinegar, salt, oregano, black pepper, cumin, coriander, red pepper flakes, and allspice until well mixed.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat and cook each patty for about 4–5 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  4. For the Tzatziki Sauce, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, olive oil, crushed garlic, dill, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Assemble your burgers on toasted buns with sliced red onion, tomato, cucumber slices, crumbled feta cheese (optional), and tzatziki sauce.
