  • 1 lb ground beef (or mix with turkey for added flavor)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • 1/3 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme until just mixed.
  3. Fill muffin cups with the mixture and lightly press down.
  4. Mix glaze ingredients and spoon over each muffin.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F/71°C).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
