  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 32 oz vanilla frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 14 mason jars (8 oz each)
  • Optional: Red, white & blue candies and sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat muffin cups with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs; mix well.
  3. Fill muffin cups nearly to the top with batter and bake for 17-19 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Cool cupcakes completely before removing from pans; cut each cupcake in half.
  5. Mix frosting and softened cream cheese until creamy.
  6. Layer cupcake bottoms in mason jars, pipe frosting on top, add decorations, and finish with cupcake tops.
