  • 46 tea bags
  • 8 cups water (2 cups for brewing, 6 cups for dilution)
  • 1 cup mixed strawberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Fresh berries and mint sprigs for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice strawberries, removing tops.
  2. Puree strawberries in a blender until smooth.
  3. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and steep tea bags for 15-20 minutes.
  4. In another saucepan, combine strawberry puree, sugar, and 1 cup water. Simmer until thickened into syrup.
  5. Strain syrup through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp.
  6. Combine brewed tea with strawberry syrup in a pitcher; add remaining cold water.
  7. Refrigerate until chilled.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh berries and mint.
